How does it work?

You have saved a 10% deposit and want to get on the property ladder as soon as possible.

Problem: 10% is not enough. It used to be before the credit crunch, but now banks are so fussy that they won't lend 90% any more. Or if they do, it's ridiculously expensive. If only you could find some spare cash!

Solution: That's where we come in. EquityShare Ltd finds investors who will put 15% cash into your purchase, so that you can take out a 75% mortgage and buy NOW.

Is there a catch? Understandably, property investors want a rent, and an exit plan within 5 years. But that's OK because you're growing equity and can use this to refinance in 5 years' time.

Am I not better off just to wait? Feel free. But if house prices go up, you could be left out in the cold.
